Design & Technology Teacher

Bolton | Full Time | September 2026

A secondary school in Bolton is looking to welcome a committed Design & Technology Teacher to their team this coming September. If you enjoy bringing learning to life through practical lessons and real-world application, this could be the ideal next step in your teaching career.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.

What the school is looking for:

  • QTS and a UK-recognised PGCE in Design & Technology (or related subject)
  • A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
  • A passion for hands-on, practical teaching
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering practical and engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking
  • Supporting students in developing technical and design-based skills
  • Contributing to a well-organised and forward-thinking department
