Design and Technology Teacher Position

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an excellent teacher to join a vibrant Design & Technology Department in a Secondary School in Preston. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and an excellent classroom practitioner who delivers engaging and challenging lessons that ensure all students achieve their best.

The role:

  • Part time
  • Start date: April 2019
  • 3 days a week
  • 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Preston Secondary School

You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering high quality lessons
  • Managing student behaviour effectively
  • Effective marking and feedback
  • Setting appropriate homework
  • Progress, behaviour and welfare of students in classes.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a valid UK PGCE
  • Have a right to work in the UK
  • Have relevant experience
  • Have an appropriate, good honours degree (2:2 or higher)
  • Have recent and relevant teaching of good to outstanding lessons at KS3 and KS4
