Job description

GOOD Primary School located near to the centre of Blackburn

Working 6.5 hours per day, three days a week.

QTS is a necessity and experience in KS1 and KS2 is desired

A school in Blackburn, who work exclusively with Teaching Personnel have approached the agency today in order to source a PPA cover teacher. The role will be to work from October 2018 and the expectation will be that the post will run until the Easter 2019. The Head teacher is keen to appoint an experienced practitioner who can work for three consecutive days a week delivering high quality PPA lesson content, predominately covering Topic and other Foundation subjects. The expectations for behaviour in school are Outstanding and the rate of progress the children make throughout school is very GOOD. The Head teacher is a driven individual who ensures all her staff are well supported on a daily basis and with this, the recent Ofsted inspection has added to the already glowing confidence around the school.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a variety of children from varying backgrounds. It is also an excellent opportunity to get your face into a GOOD Primary ready to secure yourself a permanent role in school. The children are well behaved and are keen to learn. The Head teacher is friendly and committed to supporting her children to ensure they make GOOD progress.
