Job description

  • Working as a Technician in a school
  • Assisting pupils in the use of equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing tools
  • Conforming to all health and safety requirements
  • Setting out equipment and materials in preparation for lessons
  • Undertaking administrative, technical tasks.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Ability to work alongside students and staff to enhance learning
  • Ability to undertake all aspects of administrative and technical support
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with Health and Safety requirements and ensure these are fully implemented
  • Well-organised, efficient, reliable and takes pride in performance
  • Able to follow instructions and work in collaboration with Line Manager, colleagues and other support staff teams
  • Able to work flexibly and use initiative to meet deadlines and respond to unplanned situations
  • Keen to improve and develop skills and knowledge

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
