D&T Teacher Needed - food tech specialism

Job description

Teaching personnel are currently exclusively working with a large GOOD graded school in St Albans to appoint a food technology teacher on a 0.8 contract from January.

The school has a purpose built technology block with state of the art facilities and 3 classrooms catered for food technology lessons. Each room is equipped with everything you would ever need and more.

The school is currently over subscribed and is upping its year 7 intake this September and 2019 making it an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast expanding school with ample opportunities for promotion.

You should have a proven track record and have the ability to lead and develop practice within food tech and to lead the faculty even further. Food technology is a strong curriculum area in the school with a stable, hardworking team of subject specialist staff and technicians.

The current HOD is very supportive and is known amongst the school as such. This is an opportunity for somebody who has both QTS or someone looking to begin their career as a teacher - NQTs may also apply.
