Food Technology Teacher Required

Full Time Role

Joining an OFSTED 2018 rated 'GOOD' School

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking an experienced Design & Technology teacher with a Food Technology specialism. This role is to begin immediately and is a full time position.

About the Role:

  • Full time role
  • Food Technology role
  • Pay rate between £100-150 a day, dependant on experience.
  • Immediate start

The successful candidate must:

  • Be confident leading KS3 Food Technology lessons.
  • The ability to teach KS4 is also desirable but not a requirement.
  • You must have at least 1 years UK school experience
  • You must have QTS.

This is a full time role and so the successful candidate will be expected to fully immerse themselves into the school with responsibilities such as planning and marking.

NQTs are encouraged to apply.

A valid DBS is a requirement and without this you will not be able to teach. Teaching Personnel can help you apply for this if you would like guidance.

You will be joining a 2018 OFSTED rated 'Good' in all areas school.

Since its last OFSTED the pupils behaviour has improved significantly and pupils have a positive attitude towards learning. Attendance is also good.

Where teaching is at its best, pupils are keen to learn. They know how to improve their work and are diligent in correcting and redrafting their work.

This is a school in which you will be well supported and in return will be expected to provide a high level of teaching. The OFSTED report highlights that in order to continue improving the school needs to improve teaching, learning and assessment, and hence raise standards further, by ensuring that teachers' expectations of what pupils can achieve are consistently high across all subjects.
