Full time Dance Teacher required for a Bolton based Academy starting immediately till the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted graded 'Good' Academy based in the Farnworth region of Bolton to recruit a passionate Dance teacher to work within their PE department on a full time basis.   • Full time Dance Teacher required immediately, Bolton based Academy.
  • Must hold QTS or equivalent with experience delivering Dance within an Education capacity.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Academy.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

Due to an influx of pupils across Key stage 3 & 4 selecting Dance the department have produced state of the art resources within modern facilities. As a popular subject, the department has 3 members of staff working under the guidance of the Head of Department.

As the incoming Dance teacher you will be required to;

  • Successfully manage learning through effective teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Implement a variety of methods and approaches in line with, learning objectives across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Set high expectations for all students to maximise their achievement and potential
  • Plan and record appropriate actions and outcomes related to set targets for all students.

Located a few miles outside Bolton Town Centre, the Academy is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public transport links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the Academy.
