Full time teaching Assistant position, immediate start.

  • Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Working with disengaged learners

The Salford school require individuals who are able to work with 12-16 year olds who have a range of special educational needs including; moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The successful teaching assistant for this post will be a Criminology Graduate and as a result will have a good theoretical understanding of special educational needs. You must also be a confident and a resilient teaching assistant who holds a genuine desire to help young people with SEN achieve.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
