Currently recruiting for a Creative Teaching Assistant to work with an SEN School.

We require a creative Special Needs Teaching Assistant who is able to assist Primary pupils with intervention programmes based upon their individual needs.

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants who have previously worked with students with Special Needs, although this is not essential. The role in which we are recruiting for would be a highly challenging position but also highly rewarding. Ideally the candidate will be available full time (8.30am -4.30pm), and able to get to Maidenhead

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Be comfortable assisting a wide range of subjects
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Needs namely Autism, ADHD, Sensory Needs and Behavioural Needs
  • Proactive, efficient and can follow instructions
  • A team player and not afraid of getting 'stuck in'
  • Flexible in their approach and willing to undertake a variety of tasks

The role involves assisting the classroom teacher in a variety of primary school subjects. A creative individual is requiring to engage the pupils in educational games and play.

Candidates will only be considered if they have a DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for a DBS and register it on the update service.

Teaching Personnel are also able to provide a range of training; including Team-Teach, Introduction to Autism and Moving and Handling.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
