Coversupervisors needed for busy run up to Christmas in BD3

Are you located in or around the BD3 postcode area? I am looking for Cover Supervisors to work daily supply in my partner school. A Cover Supervisor is a very important role in the school and must possess excellent behaviour management skills. As a Cover Supervisor you quickly gain the confidence to deliver content in fron tof a classroom of pupils. This is great experience for those looking to begin a PGCE.

The role of a Cover Supervisor:

• Lead the classroom – deliver pre-planned work
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively – referring to the school behaviour policy
• Keeping the classroom tidy and reporting back to senior leadership
• Assisting with other teachers to help support and promote positive learning throughout

My client is a thriving, all ability, multi-cultural school with 1500 students, aged 11-18 in BD3. With an increase in Year 7 intake, my client now has waiting lists for every year group. My client combines the benefits of a large school, with its many opportunities to study a wide range of subjects, with a friendly environment which is socially and culturally diverse. We are looking for Cover Supervisors who:

• Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
• Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
• Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
• Can hold QTS, but not necessary
• Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service OR BE WILLING TO DO SO.
