Cover Teacher Assistant Supervisor York

Teaching Personnel are seeking Cover Supervisors (Cover Assistants, Cover Teachers) to cover lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher for schools located in York and surrounding areas. The successful candidates will have a positive, can do attitude and will be capable of working on their own, as well as part of a wider team.

Do you live in York or surrounding areas and are you looking for flexible work in schools as a Cover Supervisor (Cover Assistant, Cover Teacher)? Are you a personable, positive individual who is capable of working on your own as well as part of a team? Do you hold a teaching qualification? Do you hold a degree? Do you have experience of working with young people? Do you have your own transport?

Cover Supervisors (Cover Assistants, Cover Teachers) do not need a teaching qualification, however you will need to have some experience in working with young adults and will, ideally, hold a degree. Cover Supervisors (Cover Assistants, Cover Teachers) will need to be flexible, proficient in the use of IT and have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be expected to be able to communicate with staff, students and visitors to the schools you will be working at.
