Role: Secondary School Supply Teacher
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Flexible days (08.30 – 15.30)
Pay: £157 - 165 per day (paid weekly)
Start Date: ASAP
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Supply Teachers of all levels of experience to start in the summer term!
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and skilled teachers to place inside secondary schools based across Cardiff to help educate the next generation. As a supply teacher you will have the opportunity to work flexibly in different schools across Cardiff with full control of your diary and availability via our app. This role is perfect for those looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance or those with other commitments outside of work. We welcome teachers from all levels of experience therefore if you are a newly qualified teacher or have gained years of experience and are interested in this role, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
What’s Required?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (can be sorted during application process)
- EWC registration (can be completed during application process)
- Flexible working pattern
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inclusive lessons for children of all abilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, parents, and staff of the school.
- Organise and mark the children’s work in a productive.
- Track the progress of the class and use this to tailor lessons to improve weaker members of the class’s ability.
- Create a safe and trusting environment for everyone in the class.
- Utilise new methods and ways of working.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
