Are you a recent graduate looking for paid classroom experience in Secondary Schools?

I am working on the behalf of my client Secondary School who are looking for Cover Supervisors to join their team from January 2019, with opportunities for both ad-hoc daily cover and long-term regular positions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate based in the Ilkeston area who is interested in Secondary School teaching to gain classroom experience before starting a career in education in the future.

Benefits of the role:

  • Paid experience in a classroom prior to starting a teacher training course
  • Applications accepted from recent graduates
  • Full time working hours, although there is potential for flexibility on days and hours
  • Cover supervisor pay (£55-£65 a day - depending on experience, paid via PAYE with no registration or payroll charges!)

The ideal Cover Supervisors will be confident, motivated and professional individuals and ideally have experience working with learners. There will be many transferable skills from a range of different occupations such as a sports coaches and youth work! Even if you are not a graduate but are experienced in providing Cover Supervisor (or similar) support to Secondary School aged pupils, we would love to hear from you.
