Cover Supervisors required for partnership school - Bedlington

Are you wishing to pursue a teaching career in the future? Do you have the confidence to lead lessons and support pupils during classes?
Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint cover supervisors in preperation for demand from our partnership faith school in Bedlington. Roles can be both long term and day-to-day and will involve the covering of pre-prepared lessons to multiple year groups. It is anticipated that vacancies will become available at the beginning of the school year.
The position:
- Full time and Part time Graduates required
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in lessons
- Covering lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Working directly alongside the other teachers to develop activities
- Gain invaluable experience prior to starting PGCE
The school wish to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants with immediate effect in order to implement support in multiple departments prior to the examination period. All Graduate Teaching Assistant positions will initially be offered on a temporary basis for one term, with the opportunity to gain a fixed term contract following this.
With over 1,000 pupils on roll, the school is significantly larger than average and due to this they are always looking for extra support on both a full and part time basis. Our partner Secondary school can be accessed via public transport.
