Cover Supervisors Required for Daily Work- Tonbridge

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a mixed comprehensive secondary school located in the Tonbridge area. Due to an increased demand for cover staff this academic year, the school have a full-time position available for a Cover Supervisor to join their support staff team at the earliest convenience. The school require a Cover Supervisor to work with them on a full-time temporary basis, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, initially until the end of the academic year (2019).
The successful Cover Supervisor will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience prior to completing a future teacher training programme, and will be fully supported throughout this position.
- Full-time Cover Supervisor required, immediate start.
- Mixed comprehensive secondary school located within the Tonbridge area.
- Temporary position, with the opportunity to secure a fixed term post in the new academic year depending upon funding and success.
- Earn up to £350 per week, depending upon previous experience.
- Opportunity to gain further development through CPD training through the school and Teaching Personnel.
The successful Cover Supervisor will be required on a full-time basis from 8.30am until the end of the school day each day. Responsibilities include covering lessons when permanent staff are absent through sickness, ensuring behaviour policies are followed and students are completing the cover work that has been left for them. There will be expectations that the successful Cover Supervisor will cover lessons across the subject and ability range so flexibility and confidence is essential.
Cover Supervisors will receive full support and have the opportunity to partake in regular CPD training sessions, delivered through the school and partner CPD providers.
It is essential that interested Cover Supervisors have previous experience working with children and young people. Behaviour management experience is also desired for this position.
