Teaching Personnel are the leading supply agency in the UK. We are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in our pool of schools across Nottingham .

We have a number of exciting opportunities for individuals to take their career into secondary schools and work as a Cover Supervisor.

Are you a Youth Worker / Dance Instructor/ Sport Coach looking to move your experience into education?

If you have worked with groups of children aged 11-16 for at least 20 days then Teaching Personnel want to hear from you!

As a Cover Supervisor you will:

  • Supervise work set by a teacher
  • Manage the behaviour of the students
  • Help student with any queries
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures when dealing with problems
  • Collect work once the lesson has finished and pass to the appropriate teacher

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a degree/or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 20 days experience of working with children
  • Have a resilient character and strong personal drive

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and you must have, or be willing to obtain a child workforce DBS (on the update service).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
