Teaching Personnel are looking to register and recruit graduates to work within our partnered secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor. We work with in excess of 10 secondary schools in the Tameside area on a daily basis who come to us for a variety of their supply requirements.

Highlights of the cover supervisor role for graduates:

• Pay ranging between £275 - £350 per week (depending on the area, school and previous experience. This equates to £55 - £70 per day

The role of a cover supervisor requires a graduate who is confident, adaptable and flexible in their approach. This is due to the role involving covering a permanent teacher's timetable and classes usually on a daily basis. The teacher will leave set work and planned lessons for you to deliver, working in the absence of the teacher. As the cover supervisor responsible for the students you will ensure students remain on task, complete the set work and are behaving through effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies.

There are part time, temporary and full time opportunities as a number of schools have asked for a full time cover supervisor to work with them following the Easter break so if you are available for only a few days per week then get in touch now for flexible opportunities.

The role of a cover supervisor will suit recent graduates who have some experience of engaging with young adults aged 11 - 16. This could be in a school setting, in a youth club or as a sports coach for example.
