I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Leyland, Lancashire who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a flexible contract. This role will involve the delivery of various lessons across the curriculum, where the work will have been set by the Class Teacher and managing low level classroom disruption across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a smaller than average secondary school in Preston with around 750 students on roll and is located close to the centre of Leyland with easily accessible public transport links and on site parking facilities. Behaviour of the students is generally good and senior management have proved to be very effective in their leadership duties.

The school are looking for the following in a candidate:

- Good knowledge of the Maths curriculum

- Experience of working in a secondary school

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
