Are you a recent graduate looking to start a career in the education sector? Do you like the idea of working in a Secondary school and want some further experience?
Secondary school in Tameside is seeking to appoint a confident graduate to work in the classroom with students in a mainstream setting aged 11 – 16. This role is ideal for a graduate who is considering undertaking a PGCE or for graduates who want more experience within a school setting. The school is situated in Tameside which is easily accessible from Stockport and Reddish via the M60 and also from Central Manchester with regular transport via Metrolink, train and bus routes.
Highlights of the position:
• £50 - £65 per day, depending on previous experience
• Ideal experience to support a PGCE application
• Full time temporary positions available
Teaching within the school is exemplary and the successful graduate will have the opportunity to work alongside a committed and dedicated team of professionals. The graduate will be supported throughout their time at the school and will gain invaluable experience working with young adults, shaping their futures.
As the successful graduate, you will be working in a support capacity, working with pupils in a full class setting as well as on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings. This could be in the form of intervention or providing support to students who require it the most.
If you are a recent graduate in any specialism and are motivated to influence the lives of young adults then this is the ideal position for you. The school are supportive in their work with graduates and value confident and inspirational people looking to develop their ability in working with pupils in a Secondary school setting.
