Secondary Teaching Assistants Required for Schools in the Hull Area

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of secondary schools across the Hull area who require qualified Teaching Assistants to work with pupils on a one to one basis and in a general class teaching assistant role. We have a number of opportunities to work in short term, long term and permanent positions in a variety of schools and academies.

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants who are keen to support pupils’ learning through providing small group intervention and behaviour support. We ask that you have experience working with children or young people in either a school setting or voluntary setting and are keen to be flexible.

In return, Teaching Personnel can offer excellent service from your own personal recruitment consultant who has in depth knowledge of the schools in your area and will spend time getting to know your strengths to effectively match you to your ideal position. Furthermore, we run CPD courses including Team Teach and Autism Awareness, to further your qualifications and knowledge whilst you are working.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
