Supply and Cover staff – West and Northwest London
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a variety of Secondary schools in West and Northwest London who are looking for supply teachers and cover supervisors to work as cover. Positions available allow cover staff to work on a flexible basis for the remainder of the 2019/20 academic year.
Cover managers at Teaching Personnel’s using schools are looking for;
- Teachers looking for flexible work and less responsibility
- Behaviour mentors looking to expand their experience
- Graduates with mentoring experience who want to gain understand the inner workings of Secondary schools
- Ex- police or armed forces looking for flexible and reduced hours
- Educational personnel who are semi-retired
There are several positions available, all with no preparation or planning responsibilities, with varying weekly hours. Positions are open to fully qualified teachers and those who do not hold a teaching qualification. A cover supervisor is a good positon for someone looking to gain experience and make a name for themselves in the education industry.
- Cover teacher and supervisor working as cover in schools in West and Northwest London
- Pay rate varies depending on experience and education from GBP70 to GBP150 a day
- Cover staff will need experience with behaviour management
- Flexible availability, both part time and full time, available for the spring term
- Join Teaching Personnel’s cover team and work in a variety of secondary schools
The successful cover staff member will have an interested in working in secondary school previously and have experience of managing behaviour. For any cover positions there will be no preparation or planning, work will be set and the successful applicant will have to run the class and ensure the cover work is completed. Cover work can be very flexible for people who do have sporadic availability. It is also a good opportunity for professional development and good introduction to some of Teaching Personnel’s biggest using schools.
