Cover Supervisor/Supply Teachers Needed!

If you answer yes to any of the above questions then we want to here from you!

We have been working very closely with local Southampton schools and due to the increase of the need for cover supervisors and supply teachers we are looking for dedicated individuals who are looking to explore the world of teaching through the markets leading education recruitment company Teaching Personnel!

Teaching Personnel work with a range of schools across a variety of different areas, providing daily supply to block bookings. It can be for sickness cover, PPA, trips, jury service, maternity leave etc, there are a variety of needs for short term staff within schools.

As a Cover Supervisor/Supply teacher you will be working in a range of schools, this allows you to build up experience in a range of schools and classes, all whilst being able to earn money at your convenience. You can work as much or as little as you would like.

Benefits of being a Cover Supervisor with Teaching Personnel:

  • Earn a daily rate of up to £70 (that's up to £1400 a month full time!).
  • Flexible work to suit your availability (e.g. 2 - 5 days a week).
  • Starting September 2019 - regular work through the year.
  • CPD opportunities including a free safeguarding course and Team Teach etc.
  • Regular contact and support from your own Teaching Personnel Consultant.
  • Great way to gain experience if considering a PGCE.

The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Hold a degree or going to be enrolled upon one in September.
  • Have aspirations of becoming a secondary teacher.
  • Have some availability for flexible short notice work.
  • Be confident in order to manage a class of pupils well.
  • Have previous experience in a similar setting or working with young people.
  • Have a suitable DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
