Cover Supervisor - Manchester

Are you looking to gain classroom based experience?

A secondary school in Manchester are seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join their teaching team. This is for a full or part time Cover Supervisor position, starting after February half term. The successful Cover Supervisor will be able to deliver pre planned lessons in an engaging way and display good behavioural and classroom management.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. When cover is not needed, you will be delivering support and intervention sessions on a small group and 1:1 basis. These support sessions will be in your subject specialism area. This is an opportunity for graduates and aspiring teachers to gain classroom based experience and to improve behavioural management skills.

  • Full time ongoing position available, starting after February Half term
  • Pay rate from £250 - £325 per week depending on experience
  • Opportunity to be mentored by experienced teacher
