Cover Supervisor (Sports)

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and subjects across both the main school site and our inclusion suite. Such cover will be in response to unforeseen short-term teacher absences, with the need to ensure good order is maintained in the classroom and pupils keep to task. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff within an agreed system of supervision.

Responsibilities Of The Post Include (but Not Limited To)

• To administer pre-set work.

• To engage all pupils in pre-set activities. Some PE/Sports support, PE Graduates are welcomed to apply. 

• To supervise and manage pupils’ behaviour in accordance with the Academy’s recognised behavioural standards.

• To participate in lunchtime supervision of students. It would be advantageous for the successful candidates to have experience of working with secondary age pupils and to have a working knowledge of pupil behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
