Job description

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be working within secondary schools in the South Liverpool area, delivering pre set work and managing a full classroom of students aged 11 - 16. This will be to cover the absent teacher, therefore requiring the successful Cover Supervisor to be confident and able to command the classroom. You will gain first hand experience which can stand you in good stead for a future career in teaching.

We are ideally looking for individuals who have prior experience working with children/young adults in a secondary school setting or educational/youth worker environment. This role is an amazing opportunity for graduates or teaching assistants and current cover supervisors to gain exposure in secondary schools within the Liverpool educational authority. We are always looking to support future PGCE applications and teacher training placements, with many of the individuals we've worked with, going on to a career as a teacher.
