Cover Supervisor (SEN)

Teaching Personnel are looking for cover supervisors for immediate requirements in a special needs school in Twickenham, South West London. QTS is not essential and those with equivalent teaching qualifications/SEN teaching experience will be considered.

You will be leading small secondary class in a range of subjects and will need to be flexible with an excellent approach to teaching children in SEN settings. Teaching work will be provided by the school but cover supervisors must be open to supporting across the school where required.

Pupils in this school are aged between 4-19 years old with some having a diagnosis of autism, speech and language communication needs and/or severe learning difficulties.

Location: Twickenham, London

Role: Cover Supervisor (SEN)

Duration:  2^nd February 2021 - July 2021 (may be extended)

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Fridays

Pay rate: GBP100 - 130 per day (paid on a weekly basis - negotiable dependant on qualification/training)

We are encouraging applicants with SEN teaching experience in Special Need Schools, Pupil Referral Units, Secondary schools and/or primary schools.

You will have the following:   

• Minimum 1 year relevant SEN/teaching experience
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Full-time availability (Mon to Fri 8:30 - 4:00pm)
• Current residence in Richmond, London or with local transport links to the area
• A valid child DBS Certificate (on the update service) that will need to be taken to the school on first day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
