Cover Supervisor - Full Time - Rochdale - January 2019

Teaching Personnel are working alongside an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale who require a full time Cover Supervisor to join the school in January.

  • Full time position as a Cover Supervisor starting in January 2019
  • Working within an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale
  • Get paid up to £75 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities

Our client school is a modern secondary school located a short distance from Rochdale Infirmary and is easily accessible by both car or public transport with major links to Manchester City centre a short walk away. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community and has earnt the reputation of being a school that delivers excellent GCSE results for the pupils enrolled in the school.

As a Cover Supervisor you will step in to the teacher's shoes for the day and assist the school when planned and unplanned absences arise. There will be pre set work ready for the pupils as you assist them with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is preferred however we would welcome applications from those with similar transferable experience such as those who have worked in a secondary school as a Teaching Assistant. We would also like to hear from you if you are a recent graduate seeking further experience in a secondary school setting before considering enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.
