Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support our client Secondary schools across Oldham, with the ongoing need for external support to cover for planned and unplanned absences within the school.

Due to the varying needs of supply in our client schools, there are full time and part time positions available for the any suitable candidates. Working as a Cover Supervisor gives you the opportunity to work on a flexible basis around existing commitments, whilst also gaining further experience in a secondary school environment.

**Full time and part time Cover Supervisors required, September 2018 start date**

**Working in a variety of schools in the Oldham area, on a flexible basis**

**Earn up to £350 per week, depending upon previous experience**

**Opportunity of further development through CPD training**

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

**Covering whole classes in place of the absent teacher and supervising work set for pupils**

**Ensuring pupils conform to schools behaviour policy and behave in a correct manner**

**Cover a wide variety of subjects and respond to pupils queries offering good direction**

**Ensuring work is completed to a good standard and returned to appropriate member of staff**

We wish to hear from anybody with relevant experience, either working in a Secondary school environment or in a similar role supporting or coaching young people. We would also welcome applications from any recent graduates seeking to gain extra experience in a secondary school environment before applying for a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.

Applicants will receive full support from Teaching Personnel as well as our client schools as well as being given the opportunity to further develop their skill set and qualifications though regular CPD training sessions, delivered through partner schools across Greater Manchester.
