Job Title: Cover Supervisor KS3-KS4

Location: Wakefield, Yorkshire

Salary: £77-£95 daily rate.

Contract: Flexible working

Are you looking for a flexible role within education? Do you have experience working with young people?

Teaching Personnel West Yorkshire are working in partnership with several secondary schools across Wakefield who are looking to appoint Cover Supervisors. Cover supervision is an excellent way of gaining valuable experience delivering lessons and managing a classroom. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering lessons to 30-35 students. We will fully support you in the registration and DBS Certification process.

Cover Supervisor - This role can vary but widely includes:

-          Delivering pre-planned lessons to groups of 30-35 students.

-          Classroom behaviour management.

-          Fantastic opportunity to increase future teacher training applications.

This work varies from casual day to day placements ideal for a flexible working life, to more fixed term placements (1-6 months) providing you with that fast introduction to a school that suits you. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way to start or continue your career in education.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the KS3 & KS4 curriculum and have experience working with children. Candidates must also be UK residents, living in the country for at least 6 months, with valid Right to Work documents and relevant qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
