Teaching Personnel are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our client school in Manchester with an immediate start date. This is a temporary position in the first instance commencing as soon as possible until the end of the academic year (July 2019)

The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising classes in the short term absence of teachers to deliver work prepared by teachers. They will be responsible for ensuring that students get full opportunities to learn when covering lessons for absent staff.

The ideal applicant will have experience working with young adults, particularly those who have become disengaged. Experience of working in a school setting is desirable however we would consider application from people who have worked with young adults in a similar or transferable setting.

This role would be ideal for any recent graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching and are looking to gain paid work experience prior to embarking on a PGCE or Teach First programme.
