Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are now recruiting for a Cover Supervisor, for our client school, to start immediately, in Sheffield.

If you are looking to gain further experience teaching, ahead of a possible teacher training course, or have previous experience working within a classroom, with the confidence to cover a wide range of subjects and provide general support, this may be the ideal Cover Supervisor role for you.

• Cover supervisor, full time - required immediately.
• Initially on a full time supply basis, with the opportunity to progress on a fixed term position with the school in the new academic year (September 2018).
• Mixed, 11-16, Secondary School based in Sheffield.
• Earning up to £70 per day, depending on experience.
• Receive support with opportunities to progress through training.

This Cover Supervisor role is available immediately on a full time basis. Within this position you be required to cover at school in case of short/long terms sickness and or absence, covering lessons for staff members across a range of different subjects. Due to the varied subject requirements, flexibility is essential in order to confidently deliver a range of lessons.

The successful Cover supervisor will be required to;

• Be flexible in the approach of confidently delivering a wide range of subjects.
• Deliver pre-set lessons to a high standard.
• Manage behaviour in the classroom.
• Promote the school ethos and values.

Located in the south area of Sheffield, rated 'Good' by Ofsted this mixed secondary school, has over 1600 pupils on roll, working towards the continual development of their pupils and staff team. "Teaching quality has improved markedly and is driving better progress."
