Cover Supervisor
I am recruiting a number of Cover Supervisors for Secondary Schools throughout Kirklees to work on a day to day flexible basis. If you have experience within Secondary schools and want to work within the Kirklees area, I want to hear from you!
If you have experience of leading a group of individuals, in a coaching situation or in a classroom environment and want to build on your experience then Cover supervisor work could be ideal for you. This would be the perfect opportunity for graduates who are wanting to gain paid experience.
Rate of pay - The daily pay rate for a Cover Supervisor, where there in no planning or marking involved would be between GBP60 & GBP75 per day dependant on experience and school budgets.
Hours of Work - The hours of work would be normal school hours starting as early at 8:00am and finishing at the very latest around 3:00pm. You would not be expected to stay after hours unless stated other wise for the role.
What you will be expected to do - The cover supervisor's main role is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. Cover supervisors are not expected to plan, mark or set targets
The following attributes are desirable:
- Strong behaviour management
- Experience of leading a group
- Flexibility across a range of subjects
- A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get 'stuck in'
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who may want to start their teaching career but wanting to gain experience before they start their teacher training, with a variety of different settings and abilities. Either that or if you are wanting to earn some more cash on the side on a flexible basis. The advantages of working with Teaching Personnel are that you are your own boss. You decide when you would like to work and where you are willing to travel to. We are there to find work for you!
