Cover Supervisor

Job description

Teaching Personnel is working alongside Boroughbridge High School to recruit a number of Cover Supervisors to be able to work on an ad-hoc basis at the school during this academic year.

In the role of a Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to supervise the lesson in the absence of the teacher. You don't have to be a qualified teacher to be able to do this type of work. The minimum requirement is that you hold a University Degree. Alternatively, you can hold GCSEs or equivalent with some experience of working with young people.

This is a great opportunity if you are looking at a career change and you are considering flexible work at Boroughbridge High School.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors (Cover Teachers) with an outgoing personality, who can think on their feet and are not afraid of being in charge of a group of young people.

Teaching Personnel offers weekly pay on PAYE, and competitive rates of pay of up to £15 per hour.

Please do not hesitate to contact Elisa Stokes in branch for further details. If you are interested in the post, please apply by submitting your CV.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
