Are you looking for a Cover Supervisor role in a Primary setting?

Teaching Personnel are currently representing a Federation of Schools in the South of Sheffield. There are four schools within the Federation, each looking for a Cover Supervisor to work full time. Although full time would be desired, a job share could be considered for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is Degree Educated, or qualified to L5 Teaching Assistant, who would be confident covering from EYFS to Y6. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience covering classes and have good English and Maths skills. The schools within the Federation have a high intake of SEN children, with one school having an on site IR unit. We will be looking for someone who is patient and able to motivate and inspire children. Our Ideal Primary Cover Supervisor will:

  • Degree Qualified/L5 Qualified
  • Have GCSE English and Maths (A - C) as a minimum requirement
  • Have experience covering classes
  • Have experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Be motivating and inspiring to pupils
  • Be looking for a permanent role
  • Have a clear Child Workforce only DBS, which is subscribed to the Update Service

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
