Cover Supervisor - Manchester - Full Time

Do you have experience working as a Cover Supervisor and are seeking a new challenge this academic year?

Maybe you are a recent graduate and are seeking further experience in a secondary school setting before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme?

Due to a gap in department there is a vacancy for a full time Cover Supervisor to join the support team at an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Manchester at the soonest convenience.

We are working alongside an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Manchester who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their support department for the remainder of the academic year, with the opportunity of a permanent contract for the correct candidate. As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to deliver a pre set lesson plan in the absence of the regular class teacher as you support the pupils with any individual needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related.

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is preferred however we would welcome applications from those with similar experience, such as those who have worked within a secondary school as a Teaching Assistant or those that have supported young people in a different capacity, particularly if you have experience supporting individuals who show signs of challenging behaviour.
