Cover Supervisor - Salford

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Salford who are looking to recruit a full time Cover Supervisor to join their support team with an immediate start date. This is due to a restructure in the school's cover team and the successful candidate will be responsible for covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, initially until the end of the academic year 18/19.

  • Earn up to £350 per week, depending on previous experience

The successful Cover Supervisor will be required on a full time basis from 8:30am until the end of the school day.

Responsibilities will include covering lesson in the event of class teacher absence, ensuring behaviour policies are followed with class control and the completion of pre set work for the pupils. The successful candidate will be expected to cover lessons across the subject and ability range, so flexibility and confidence is essential for the role of Cover Supervisor.

It is also essential that the successful candidate has previous experience working with young people (aged 11-16), a school setting would be desirable.

Please note, applicants for the Cover Supervisor role will initially be employed on a temporary supply basis and must have suitable references and a DBS certificate.
