Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for charismatic graduates to undertake Cover Supervisor roles in the Nottingham area. The role of a Cover Supervisor is an exciting one, ideal for someone who is looking for a career in education.

You will be tasked with covering the class in the absence of a fully qualified teacher. The successful candidate will be resilient under pressure as they will be required to manage the behaviour of classes of up to 30, ensuring all set work is completed to the highest standard. Whilst this role can be challenging, it can also be very rewarding.

The role of a Cover Supervisor can be both full time and part time and can be flexible. The average school day is 6.5 hours, starting at 8.30am and finishing around 3.30pm.

In order to be considered to this role, you must:

• Have a degree or equivalent qualification

• Be proactive, resilient and enthusiastic

• Be able to build a good rapport with students

• Enjoy being in the classroom environment

We offer competitive remuneration for this post; this is paid by PAYE, one week in arrears. You will benefit from an immediate interview and CPD opportunities in the school holidays. You will also be entered into a work place pension.

If you are successful, you will be joining England’s largest provider of educational staff with a network of branches across the country. Throughout your employment with Teaching Personnel you will have your own dedicated Consultant to support you with any queries you may have relating to your employment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
