Cover Supervisors Required

  • £60 - £70 per day
  • Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher
  • Experience working in Secondary schools

Are you a graduate and aspiring teacher? Do you have the desire to build your skills working within a school? Can you make a difference, supporting pupils learning?

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of The Deferrers Trust which include a cluster of Secondary schools in the Burton upon Trent Area and are in need of cover supervisors immediately due to high demands on a daily basis.

A successful applicant should:

• Be someone who is confident and assertive with the ability to deliver a range of lesson across the curriculum

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Be adaptable to a variety of situations

• Have extensive knowledge in one subject area

• Have previous experience working and supporting children either in or out of an educational setting.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers such as the National Association of SEN to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; assessment for learning, planning for progression, effective behaviour management, teaching for learning, using data, SEND, effective adult learning support, supporting pupils with BESD, Safeguarding, etc.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
