Secondary school in Tameside is seeking to appoint a motivated and confident graduate to work in the classroom with students in a mainstream setting aged 11 – 16. This would benefit a graduate looking to persue a career in education or for those just looking for experience within a school setting.

The Secondary School is situated in the heart of Tameside and is therefore easily accessible via the M60 ring road or local public transport. The school can be accessed easily from the local area of Stalybridge, Dukinfield, Ashton Under Lyne and Hyde. Teaching within the school is exemplary and the successful graduate will have the opportunity to work alongside a committed and dedicated team of professionals.

As the appointed graduate you will be working with pupils in a full class setting as well as have the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis. The experience gained will be invaluable and allow the successful candidate to gain the necessary experience to support a future PGCE application, standing the graduate in good stead for a future in education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
