Cover supervisor - Manchester

Cover supervisor opportunity within a Manchester secondary school, starting in September.

Due to a staffing change and some internal restructuring, a secondary school in Manchester have a temporary position for a Cover Supervisor starting in September. This is full time and will involve working as part of the schools cover team, at short notice you will be expected to oversee and lead lessons in the absence of class teachers. As a Cover supervisor working within this mixed secondary school, you will gain excellent experience in and out of the classroom, the training courses available to staff are excellent and will benefit your knowledge of the education sector.

- Pay rate – earn up to £65 per day (experience dependant)

- Situated in south Manchester, good transport links to city centre

Previous experience within a classroom is desired for this Cover Supervisor position. The successful applicant will be given support and the opportunity to develop within the role, covering lessons and leading groups of children in core subjects whereby attainment and understanding is not at the expected level. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
