Cover supervisors required for Secondary school in Stockport. If you are looking to gain school based experience to support a teacher training programme cover supervising is the perfect opportunity to do so. Teaching Personnel welcome applications from those who have a background in youth work, coaching or school background.
The school is large in size with over 1000 students. Pupils are well behaved and achieve well above national averages in their academic performance. As a cover supervisor you will be supporting the school by covering absent teachers in lesson. The role of a cover supervisor requires a level of professionalism and an ability to manage students behaviour ensuring that they remain on task.
You need to be flexible to meet the demands of the post as you will be covering lessons across the schools and in a number of subjects. Cover supervisors deliver pre set work that is left by the full time class teachers.
