Job role: Learning Support Assistant.

Area: High Peak.

Salary: £350 - £450.

Start date: As soon as possible.

The Opportunity:

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools within the High Peak area that are wanting to bring in a Learning Support Assistant to help with the children’s progression and development during their school life.

The position would consist of working 1:2:1 or within small groups of students, ranging from year 7 – 11, who need additional support through their learning and behaviour levels. Therefore, the ideal applicant is someone who has suitable behaviour management skills and is punctual enough to guide the pupils through the tasks in hand.

All our positions to begin with are temporary roles, yet when the schools find a candidate that proves to be a valuable asset, they usually get taken onto a permanent position. However, due to the fact we work with a vast amount of schools within the area, if your placement came to an end at the school, we would instantly look at getting you placed In another suitable school straight away!

Requirements:

• Full child workforce DBS (one can be obtained through Teaching Personnel if you don’t own one)
• 2 valid references dating back 2 years.
• Attach up to date CV before further discussion.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
