Due to an increase in demand for Cover Supervisors, we are recruiting for candidates who are available for hourly, morning; afternoon and full day cover work in our Partner Secondary Schools in Darwen.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be required to deliver work set by absent staff. Bookings can be pre-booked or last minute, and range in duration from individual school periods to full days. Your role as a Cover Supervisor is vital for Secondary Schools, as you give them additional support when needed, and are a solution to last minute school absences.

Teaching Personnel, the market leaders in education recruitment, are working in partnership with the secondary schools in Darwen to recruit for Cover Supervisors, who has had experience supporting young people with behaviour difficulties and SEN. The Cover Supervisor role involves supporting a range of students within a Secondary School, covering lessons within a variety of different subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher. All the work will be pre-prepared however excellent classroom management is essential.

This is the ideal opportunity for Youth Workers or with similar backgrounds, who are looking for a new direction in their career. This is an exciting opportunity to also gain a permanent school contract at one of the schools in Darwen.

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure registered to the update service(Teaching Personnel can process this for you)
• A real passion to educate 11-18 year olds
