A secondary school in Sheffield are looking to hire a cover supervisor on a temporary basis as soon as possible. This position is available due to staffing restructure and the increase in pupil enrolment for the new academic year. Applications for the cover supervisor are welcome from candidates of ranging experience. If you are a future/aspiring teacher or an experienced cover supervisor looking for a position in September, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

  • Full time position starting ASAP
  • Supply contract with the possibility of a permanent contract in December 2018
  • Must have experience supporting children aged 11-16
  • Rates of pay up to £75 per day dependant on experience

The role of cover supervisor will involve leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers (varying subjects). You must also have the flexibility to work in different subjects and be confident managing behaviour and training whilst full support will be provided by the school.

This position has been made available late due to staffing restructure, the school are looking to employ temporary initially with the possibility of becoming a more fixed appointment for the academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
