Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work in one of our client secondary schools in Tameside. This school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Hyde, Stalybridge, and Ashton-Under-Lyne.
This will be a full-time position and it is due to begin immediately.
Throughout this role, you will earn a competitive salary between £385 and £450 per week).
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
- Working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Assisting in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
