Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a number of Cover Supervisors for schools in and around Wigan ahead of the new school year in September. We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors or anyone who is considering a career as teacher in the future.

• Flexible Cover Supervisor work in Wigan and Bolton
• Working within secondary schools with pupils aged pupils (11-16)
• Ideal opportunity for any graduates considering a career as a teacher in the future
• Earn between GBP60 - GBP75 per day whilst gaining invaluable experience towards a career in secondary education

As a Cover Supervisor working within our client schools you will be covering lessons in the absence of a teacher and delivering the pre planned lesson which they have set. It is crucial that the you are confident, outgoing and show a willingness to learn. As you will be solely responsible for the delivery of pre-set lessons it will be your task to ensure that students remain on task and are behaving in an appropriate manner.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is perfectly suited for graduates and aspiring teachers as well as those who already have experience working as a Cover Supervisor. Sports Coaches and Actors are also encouraged to apply, and training can be provided to ensure that any candidate is prepared before entering the classroom.

This is a good introduction into a number of schools where you can gain key experience which will help you to build a teaching portfolio and will potentially open up a number of opportunities for a long term position/support a PGCE application.
