Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a supply teacher to join our team of support staff who help schools in their local area to manage their short-term absences, in the East Manchester area.
Throughout this role, you will work flexibly, being in control of your own availability. You will have access to your own diary so you can manage your chosen working days.
You will earn a competitive salary between £100 and £140 per day.
For this role, you must be a fully qualified teacher, with any subject specialism. The work can very from one day of general cover to a few weeks of subject specific cover. In any role, you will not be responsible for planning and marking, allowing you to have an improved work life balance. You will be required to deliver pre planned lessons, you should ensure that you effectively controlling the behaviour within the classroom to create a safe and engaging environment.
To be cleared for work, you will be required to apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check o ensure that you are a suitable person to be placed into a school. Once this check has been completed you will be required to put this check onto the Update Service to ensure that it remains an active and up to date check. You will also be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
