This position is ideal for graduates considering going on to a teacher training programme in the future.

  • Cover Supervisors required – full-time, part-time, and flexible work available.
  • Immediate work available.
  • Earn up to £1450 per month, depending on experience.
  • Experience working with young people or transferrable skills is desirable.
  • Secondary schools based in Bolton.

Applicants will ideally have previous experience working with young people but do not need a teaching qualification. Within this role the successful applicants will hold several responsibilities including:

  • Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers.
  • Managing behaviour and ensuring tasks are completed by pupils.
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages and ability. 
  • Assessing and evaluating pupils’ progress in the absence of the teacher.

Our partner schools are located near Bolton and are easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bury, Swinton and central Manchester via the M66 and A56. For non-drivers, our client schools can also be accessed via several forms of public transport from areas such as Leigh, Bury and Farnworth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
