Job description

Full time and or part time flexible Cover supervisors required for our Bolton based Secondary schools, required immediately on a temporary supply basis.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with numerous Secondary schools across the Bolton Learning Education Authority (LEA) to provide Cover Supervisors.

Incoming Cover Supervisors must be well organised, hardworking and enthusiastic in the delivery of lessons to pupils across the school board. Due to the changing nature of the role, we are seeking to appoint confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to coordinate and supervise whole class lessons during the short term absence of teaching staff.

The responsibilities for the successful Cover Supervisors will include:

  • Providing classroom supervision for pupils in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Carry out any additional duties and responsibilities requested by Senior Leadership in line with the grade expectations of this post.
  • Confidently able to cover all curriculum lessons, including practical areas such as Physical Education where applicable.
  • Earn up to £70 per day.

Bolton is easily accessible via major motorway links including the M60/M65 ad via the surrounding areas Bury, Salford and Wigan. The school can also be accessed through various public transport options with links across Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
