Cover supervisors required on a temporary, ad-hoc full time and or part time basis, for a Salford based RC Secondary School.

  • Full time and or part time Cover Supervisor positions available, ad-hoc basis.
  • Salford based RC Secondary School - required immediately.
  • Must hold a minimum of Graduate Level qualification to be considered alongside prior experience working with young people.
  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' Roman Catholic High School.
  • Earn up to £1200 per month.

This diverse RC Secondary school is based in Salford, has just over 750 pupils on roll, aged 11-16. The school has been graded 'Good ', and continues to move forward under the guidance of its senior leadership team.

"We adopt a whole school approach, where every teacher is a teacher of special or additional needs, with the responsibility for supporting the inclusion of SEN children into the school community in its widest sense". - Ofsted.

The Cover Supervisor role will include;

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher across the subject board.
  • Confidences delivering engaging lessons to keep pupils engaged and promote a growth mind-set.
  • Strong behaviour management skills due to the nature of the role in accordance to school behaviour policies.

Located in central Salford, it is ideally located to be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Manchester. There are also various public transport options with links across Greater Manchester.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
